'twas a cruisey christmas
I thought I would share with you some photos from our Christmas day. Each year my mum and her two sisters take turns hosting xmas for the extended family, whoever is in town. This year it was at my parents house which gave me an opportunity to flex my styling muscles for those I love the most, my family.
I made home-made xmas crackers with brown paper - inside were jokes written and created by my 8 yr old son Harry, along with some scrabble letters and dominoes - encouraging guests to share and create words together.
My wonderful assistant Shelby George hand-sewed the napkins and tablecloth with fabric from Marthas.
Thanks to a perfectly timed visit to Flotsam & Jetsam I had a collection of mini crystal dishes for the salt & pepper.
Mini Christmas trees from Bioattic punctuated the table ends and greenery (no idea what it is called!) wove its way down the middle.
All finished off with a sprinkling of brown paper confetti.
